Job summary

Sun Chemical is seeking a Site Controller to lead all finance and accounting functions at the plant level. You will manage budgets, cost accounting, inventory reporting and monthly closes while ensuring GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.

The role calls for partnering with plant leaders and corporate finance to drive cost optimization, profitability analyses, and strategic cost initiatives across operations.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting/Finance required.
• 5–7 years of manufacturing accounting/finance experience.
• Proficient with MS Office; SAP preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Experience with cost accounting and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all plant-level accounting functions.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and annual operating plans.
• Perform monthly close and financial reporting.
• Analyze variance drivers and cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain internal controls and coordinate audits.
• Collaborate with plant leadership and corporate finance.
• Manage inventory reporting and cost center reporting.
