Job summary

Original Composites and Fibers seeks a Plant Controller to provide financial leadership for a manufacturing facility. The role balances hands-on accounting with strategic oversight, reporting to the Plant Leader and partnering with plant leadership to drive results, controls, and growth.

The successful candidate will lead budgeting, forecasting, monthly close, and analytics, while developing talent and ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies to support sustainable profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or relevant discipline.
• 5+ years operating in a range of economic conditions with forecasting and risk analysis.
• Strong financial acumen with knowledge of corporate finance and manufacturing costing principles.

Responsibilities

• Participates in development of plant operational objectives aligned with corporate strategy.
• Manages budgeting, forecasting and monthly closing processes.
• Delivers plant financial forecasts and variance analyses to leadership.
• Leads continuous improvement and contingency planning to optimize shareholder value.
• Provides cross-functional leadership and development of talent within the plant.
• Oversees asset management, inventory reporting and supplier negotiations.
