Job summary

Sun Chemical Corporation, a Sun Chemical Company member, is seeking a Site Controller to lead plant financial operations. The role covers general accounting, cost accounting, budgeting, and inventory reporting within a manufacturing setting.

The candidate will partner with plant leadership to optimize cost structures, conduct variance analysis, and ensure GAAP compliance. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 5–7 years accounting/finance in manufacturing.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Knowledge of management accounting and inventory systems.
• Strong GAAP analysis and communication skills.
• Ability to lead others.

Responsibilities

• Perform all plant-level accounting functions including general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cost accounting.
• Gather, process, and disseminate financial data for management and corporate reporting.
• Analyze variance drivers and identify root causes and actions.
• Collaborate with Finance and business leaders to manage costs.
• Lead analytics on strategic initiatives and budgets.
• Prepare Annual Operating Plan and updated forecasts relating expenses to sales/production.
• Execute monthly close and related reporting.
• Support inventory reconciliations and profitability studies.
