Job Description

Role Overview

This on-site finance leadership role involves driving profitability and capital discipline. Responsibilities include managing all plant financial activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in compliance with Amcor policies, and supporting effective business decisions through financial analysis. The role reports directly to the plant manager and is part of the plant leadership team. The plant has $100m annual sales and 130 employees.

1. Act as a safety leader, promoting a safety-first environment.
2. Serve as the Finance Business Partner to the Plant GM and management team, influencing performance and managing plant P&L, inventory, budgets, and forecasts.
3. Analyze financial results, identify trends, and recommend performance improvements.
4. Utilize profitability tools and provide strategic guidance on customer profitability and trends.
5. Support decision-making with analysis and commentary, including capital investments.
6. Manage financial KPIs, sales, costs, and balance sheet analysis, leveraging cross-functional resources as needed.
7. Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX, and accounting policies.
8. Lead human capital processes such as goal setting, performance reviews, and development for direct reports, supporting training and fostering Amcor values.

What We Want From You

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 7+ years in manufacturing finance, 5+ years in leadership roles
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; SAP knowledge a plus
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
