Job summary

CapstoneONE Search represents a Fortune 500 manufacturing organization in Michigan seeking a Controller to lead finance for a $250M plant. The role reports to the VP/GM and collaborates closely with the Divisional CFO to drive financial excellence.

The selected candidate will own month-end close, cost accounting, FP&A, and reporting, reviewing plant inventory and delivering executive-grade analyses to guide strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA/CMA/MBA preferred.
• 3–5 years in plant/manufacturing controller or accounting leadership.
• Experience leading month-end close process.
• Strong cost accounting and FP&A skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close for a $250M operation.
• Oversee cost, FP&A, and reporting functions.
• Review and analyze plant inventory transactions.
• Provide executive leadership with detailed reports for business decisions.
• Participate in projects and support CFO, VP/GM, and Operations Leadership.
