Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking an experienced Plant Controller to lead accounting and FP&A for a $100M+ site. You will partner with plant leadership to drive financial excellence, oversee close processes, cost accounting, budgeting, and audit coordination.

The role emphasizes strategic financial guidance, inventory working capital management, and analytical projects to improve margins. Strong leadership and manufacturing finance experience are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
Minimum 10 years of financial management experience in manufacturing.
Proven leadership and management skills.
Experience with reporting, budgeting, general ledger and audits.
Analytical thinking and ability to present financial data clearly.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong knowledge of financial systems and manufacturing finance practices.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Maintain confidentiality and manage multiple tasks with deadlines.

Responsibilities

Develop financial policies and procedures with significant site impact.
Analyze financial data and present reports to senior leadership.
Collaborate with site leadership to drive financial excellence and provide FP&A support.
Align department goals with organizational strategy.
Lead internal communications on financial goals across the site.
Assist plant manager in inventory working capital management and improvements.
Prepare monthly/quarterly consolidated reports and ad hoc analyses.
Coordinate all audit activities.
