Job summary

Sanmina Corporation in Houston seeks a Plant Controller to lead all financial aspects of the plant’s operations. You will partner with Plant Management to own the P&L, manage forecasts and budgets, and drive cost discipline with GAAP compliance.

You will guide production, purchasing, logistics, and engineering finance, develop the management team, and ensure accurate close and reporting. This is a full-time on-site role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10-12 years of progressive financial leadership experience in a high-mix manufacturing environment.
• At least 5 years in a Plant Controller role.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong verbal and written communication.
• CMA/CPA desirable.
• Strong knowledge about public company financial practices, GAAP and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial function, including forecasts and budgets, controlling costs, and guidance to plant management.
• Provide financial leadership to production, purchasing, logistics, materials planning, quality and engineering.
• Ensure timely financial close and complete, accurate reporting.
• Create sophisticated financial analyses for operations leadership.
