A growing, established food manufacturing company in Brookshire, TX is seeking a hands‑on Plant Controller to lead plant‑level financial operations and partner closely with leadership, production, and warehouse teams.

What You’ll Own

• Oversee plant‑level financial reporting, general ledger accuracy, and internal controls
• Lead cost accounting, inventory management, and variance analysis
• Monitor labor, material, yield, and production costs to improve profitability
• Maintain strong inventory controls including cycle counts, reconciliations, and audits
• Partner with production and warehouse teams to improve reporting and operational efficiency
• Support budgeting, forecasting, KPI tracking, and financial planning
• Identify process improvements across accounting systems, ERP reporting, and operational workflows
• Prepare for audits, ensure compliance, and maintain financial integrity across the plant

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5–10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
• Strong manufacturing experience required
• Cost accounting and inventory management expertise is a must
• ERP system experience required (NetSuite preferred)
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Someone who is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working cross‑functionally with operations teams
