Job summary

The Armor Group is seeking an experienced finance professional to guide accounting functions for its Indiana and Michigan locations. You will own the general ledger, month-end close, and policy development while supporting corporate strategy with financial analysis and forecasting.

The role requires 5–10 years in accounting leadership, CPA or master's degree, and experience with standard costing, ABC costing, asset inventories, and audits.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years experience as Assistant Controller or Senior Accountant in a multi-plant environment.
• Progressive responsibility in accounting, standard costing, job order reporting, variance analysis, ABC costing, fixed asset inventories, reconciliations and audit prep.
• CPA certification and/or master's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger and month-end close processes.
• Manage month-end close of financial statements.
• Prepare forecasts and projections.
• Analyze monthly operations, budget vs actual, profitability by customer and product.
• Establish and maintain accounting policies and reconciliations.
