Job summary

The Adecco Group in Grand Rapids is recruiting a Plant Controller for a full-time role with a manufacturing client. You will oversee accounting and financial reporting, lead the month-end close, and partner with operations leadership on business decisions.

The ideal candidate holds a CPA (preferred), a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, and 6+ years leading accounting teams in manufacturing. Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and regulatory reporting is

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
6+ years of experience leading accounting/finance teams and operations.
Manufacturing industry experience required.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

Oversee accounting and financial reporting activities.
Lead the month-end close process and ensure accurate financials.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasts.
Analyze financial performance and help leadership understand risks/opportunities.
Improve accounting processes, reporting, and internal controls.
Coordinate external audits and regulatory reporting.
Partner with plant and operations leadership on business decisions.
Lead and develop the accounting team.
