Job summary

Augmentis places a Controller for its client, a Fortune 500 leader in engineered products and advanced metals, to own accounting, controls, planning, and analysis at the manufacturing site. You will partner with operations leadership to shape strategy, improve performance, and guide capital decisions.

The role drives forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting, ensuring GAAP compliance and strong cost controls in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 5+ years of progressive financial or controllership experience, including at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Authorization to work in the United States (visa sponsorship is not available).
• MBA, CPA, and/or CMA preferred.
• Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, or similar ERP and planning systems, plus the ability to build and run data queries.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• A track record of thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven plant environment while managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve on the site Operations Leadership Team as the finance business partner as strategy is developed and executed.
• Identify, analyze, and communicate the key financial and operational drivers of site performance.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, planning, reporting, consolidation, and analysis for the site and business unit.
• Design and monitor internal controls that keep operations on track to the financial plan.
• Spend time on the shop floor to understand the operation and the financial consequences of operational decisions.
• Lead special projects as needed.
