Job summary

Mark Anthony Group in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Plant Controller to lead financial operations at the plant, including standard costing, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting and ERP control. You will partner with plant leadership and corporate teams to drive financial accuracy and continuous improvement.

The role requires 5–8 years of cost accounting experience within the CPG sector, preferably in beverages, and strong Excel/ERP skills to support production and compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Cost accounting and standard product costing experience with complex bills of materials.
• Experience in the CPG industry, particularly food and beverage; alcohol industry preferred.
• Experience building labor costing models.
• Demonstrated expertise using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Operational Support: Partner with plant operations to ensure accuracy of production records, develop labor costing model, support productivity projects and provide financial analysis for ad hoc initiatives.
• Process Management and Controls: Oversee plant TTB compliance, maintain and ensure adherence to financial and operational controls, and manage audit testing procedures.
• Month End Close: Review P&L accounts, provide insights vs budget/forecast, ensure inventory accuracy and prepare management reports.
• Budget and Forecast: Lead standard costs and variance planning for annual budgets and forecasts, develop analytics, and manage standard costs for WIP and finished goods.
• Team and Leadership Functions: Develop and train team members, assess resource needs, and build contingency plans.
