Job summary

A leading recruitment company is seeking a financial leader to manage a team and oversee accounting processes. This role involves full ownership of GL, month-end close, and financial reporting, crucial for driving process improvement across the business. The ideal candidate has a BS degree in Accounting or Finance with manufacturing experience, strong leadership skills, and knowledge of US GAAP. A relocation package is available for the right applicant as he/she will be part of an engaged and collaborative management team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in US GAAP through Financial Statements, Budgeting, and Forecasting.
• Manufacturing experience is a must.
• Experience in a SOX environment.

Responsibilities

Compensation: $200-230K

Location: Orange County, CA

Team Description: Managing a team of 8-10

Hours/Schedule: 50 hours per week

Challenges/Upcoming Projects: Great team, but needs someone who can bring them together, work on processes and controls

Responsibilities

This job in a nutshell:

• Full ownership of GL and Month end close, Financial statements
• Standard Cost Accounting
• Budget, Forecasting, Financial Analysis
• Reporting on all areas of the business; partnership with Plant Leadership to improve performance across the business
• Reporting to Corporate leadership including B/S, P&L, Performance
• Adhere to and implement any internal controls
• Implement new processes and improve overall team

Qualifications

We are looking for (key requirements/preferences):

• BS degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or CMA is nice to have
• Manufacturing Experience is a must
• Must have hands on experience in US GAAP through Financial Statements, Budget and Forecasting, and Standard Cost Accounting
• Strength in Leadership with Controllership experience; Can demonstrate they can develop a strong team with efficient processes
• Has experience in a SOX environment
