Lofton Security Service, Inc. seeks a Compliance Specialist to lead the enterprise ethics and compliance program for a major heavy-industrial project in Ascension Parish, Louisiana. You will own governance, risk assessments, investigations, and corrective actions across functions.

This high-visibility role requires advising executives, coordinating with Legal and HR, and ensuring regulatory obligations and incentive compliance are met with rigorous reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in compliance, legal, audit, risk, or government-incentive roles.
• Experience in manufacturing, construction, energy, or multinational orgs is preferred.
• Experience administering state/local economic-development incentives.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and improvement of the enterprise ethics and compliance program, including annual plan, policies, controls, and reporting framework.
• Advise executives on compliance risk, policy interpretation, regulatory obligations, conflicts of interest, and anti-bribery/corruption.
• Direct enterprise risk assessments, monitoring, testing, reviews, and remediation of control gaps.
• Oversee hotline matters and investigations with Legal and HR, including interviews and findings.
• Manage third-party due diligence, sanctions screening, and governance of gifts and approvals.
• Develop and deliver risk-based training and maintain audit-ready records.
• Manage state/local incentive obligations, tracking milestones and reporting on capital, jobs, and payroll data across teams.
• Serve as primary contact for government agencies, auditors, and external counsel; prepare executive risk reports.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a Plant Compliance Manager to lead the enterprise ethics and compliance program for a major heavy-industrial company and advise senior leadership on legal, regulatory, policy, and business-integrity risk. You'll own program governance, direct risk assessments and investigations, oversee corrective actions, and manage state and local government incentive compliance tied to a major capital-investment commitment.

This is a high-visibility, build-it role - a chance to stand up and shape the compliance function for a major new Ascension Parish operation, working directly with executives and external stakeholders.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the enterprise ethics and compliance program - annual plan, policies, controls, and reporting framework


• Advise executives and department leaders on compliance risk, policy interpretation, regulatory obligations, conflicts of interest, and anti-bribery and corruption


• Direct enterprise compliance risk assessments, monitoring, testing, internal reviews, and remediation of control gaps


• Oversee hotline matters and internal investigations - evidence preservation, interviews, findings, and corrective actions - in coordination with Legal and HR


• Establish and oversee third-party due diligence, sanctions and restricted-party screening, and gifts, entertainment, disclosure, and approval controls


• Develop and deliver risk-based compliance training, and maintain complete, audit-ready program records


• Manage state and local government incentive obligations - agreements, compliance calendars, milestone tracking, and reporting - validating the supporting capital, jobs, and payroll data across teams


• Serve as primary compliance contact for government agencies, auditors, and external counsel, and prepare executive reports on compliance risk, investigations, incentive status, and program effectiveness

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000+, depending on experience

Requirements:

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor's degree in Compliance, Business, Accounting, Finance, Public Policy, Law, or a related field


• 5+ years of progressively responsible compliance, legal, audit, risk, or government-incentive experience, including leading programs or significant cross-functional initiatives


• Compliance experience in manufacturing, construction, energy, or a multinational organization


• Experience administering state or local economic-development incentives (jobs, capital investment, payroll, or infrastructure commitments)


• Proven ability to advise senior leaders, exercise independent judgment, manage sensitive investigations, and elevate significant risk appropriately


• Strong knowledge of corporate compliance program expectations, internal controls, policy governance, and regulatory or contractual reporting


• Clear communicator in English who safeguards confidential information and works well across functions and cultures

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• JD, CCEP, CCEP-I, CPA, CIA, CFE, or another relevant professional credential
