Job summary

Diageo Plainfield Plant is seeking an Engineering Projects Manager to lead capital projects across packaging and processing lines. You will manage a 5-year asset care strategy and a capital expenditure program, coordinating with Maintenance and Engineering leadership and guiding three Controls Engineers with dotted-line support to Instrumentation and Controls engineers.

Qualifications

• 10 years minimum project engineering/management or similar experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple work streams while delivering to target dates.
• Microsoft Office suite literate (MS Project a plus).
• Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems
• Strong leadership and management background.
• Strong background in Allen Bradley ladder logic programming.

Responsibilities

• Establish and effectively handle project budgets and objectives, including change control and alignment with customers on requirements.
• Lead reliability projects across packaging lines.
• Lead processing area projects.
• Provide guidance and support Production Team Leads and maintenance coordinators.
• Develop training plans with maintenance to meet plant goals and mentor staff.
• Support production and maintenance on on-shift issues and identify training gaps for improvement.
• Verify all projects meet Safety, Quality, Environment and Food Safety requirements.
