Diageo is seeking an experienced Packaging Engineer to lead technical development and commercialization of packaging for strategic innovations and renovations. You will translate brand needs into scalable packaging solutions, guide early-career engineers, and collaborate across Commercialization, Innovation/R&D, Procurement, Quality and Manufacturing to deliver robust, first-time-right packaging.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of packaging materials, processes and qualification

Qualificações

• BS in Packaging Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of packaging development/engineering or technical commercialization experience.
• Experience leading packaging projects from concept through production.
• Experience with packaging materials, development, manufacturing processes and qualification requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Own packaging delivery from concept through commercialization and post-launch, ensuring quality, performance and cost targets.
• Lead development and commercialization of primary, secondary and tertiary packaging components.
• Coach and develop packaging engineers, building technical capability and leadership.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Commercialization, Innovation/R&D, Procurement, Quality and Manufacturing.
• Drive governance with testing, trials, risk assessments and technical approvals.
• Balance project portfolio resources and drive continuous improvement in standards and processes.
