Job summary

Danone in Mt. Crawford, Virginia seeks a Project Engineer to manage capital projects across packaging, processing, and utilities. You will lead small to large initiatives, coordinating internal teams and external vendors to meet business needs using formal project management practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from accredited college or university.
• 3+ years in project engineering required, CPG beverage/food manufacturing strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Act as engineering point of contact for facility internal customers.
• Provide technical assistance as required.
• Attend facility leadership meetings.
• Provide project management and expertise for all capital projects.
• Identify, create, and submit necessary documents for CAPEX approval.
• Review Capital Projects Contracts.
• Create Purchase Orders for Capital Projects.
• Coordinate and lead multi-functional teams within the project.
• Track and manage Capital and Project Expense.
• Schedule, direct, and inspect the work of contractors/vendors.
• Report on progress and conformance to project work plans.
