Job summary

The Lindy Group's Plant Operations Team is seeking a detail-oriented Plant Accountant focused on billing to support our concrete operations. You will set up new customer accounts, review tickets, generate invoices, and monitor credit limits to keep customer accounts healthy.

We expect a 4-year business-related degree, 2+ years of accounting experience, strong organization, clear communication, and independent judgment. Reports to the Plant Accounting Manager and offers competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• a 4-year degree in business or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• 2+ years of administrative or accounting experience.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate across teams.
• Sharp research and communication skills.
• Sound judgment - interpret and apply company policy independently, not just follow a checklist.

Responsibilities

• Set up new customer accounts and manage credit applications
• Review daily concrete tickets and turn them into accurate invoices
• Handle weekly external ticket review, including tax determination and invoicing
• Keep an eye on customer credit limits and balances, flagging issues to leadership
• Prepare customer statements
• Investigate and resolve billing disputes with professionalism
• Take on additional projects alongside the Plant Accounting Manager
