Continental in Ohio seeks a Plant Automation Engineer to plan, coordinate, track and ensure implementation of automation projects at the plant level, driving investments and cost savings aligned to MPE and BA strategy.

You will lead specifications approvals, support BA reporting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver automation solutions on time and within budget, including Smart Factory concepts and upgrades to legacy equipment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 2+ years in manufacturing engineering including Automation.
• Experience developing and implementing automation solutions in manufacturing.
• Experience in project management/capital improvements.
• Experience leading project teams.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure investments are planned and implemented per plant goals.
• Drive approval of specifications and eCRs for production equipment investments.
• Support automation projects for process improvement in the plant.
• Contribute to BA reporting requirements and standards compliance.
• Lead in planning, start-up, validation, handover of automation projects.
• Manage timelines and budgets; supervise contractors.
