Job summary

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in industrial or mechanical engineering and 5–10 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to apply safety policies and maintain safe work areas in a production setting.
• Proven problem-solving skills and collaboration with production, maintenance, and quality teams.

Responsibilities

• Translate production and product requirements into mechanical concepts, designs, and automated equipment solutions.
• Develop and implement equipment and automated machinery to improve safety, ergonomics, quality, and efficiency.
• Lead projects from concept through implementation, including planning, design, testing, procurement and installation.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering to ensure manufacturability and performance.
• Document and control equipment performance, initiating corrective actions and continuous improvement.
