Burnett Specialists Staffing | Recruiting seeks a detail-oriented Plant Administrative Coordinator to support day-to-day administrative and operational functions in a manufacturing facility. You will work with plant leadership, production, warehouse, and operations to ensure accurate documentation, inventory, and purchasing processes.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a plant environment, organized, and proficient with Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Administrative, operations, manufacturing, production, inventory, purchasing, or related experience preferred
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Experience with NetSuite, an ERP system, or similar software preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with large amounts of information
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and logical thinking abilities
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional and dependable with a strong work ethic
  • Comfortable working in a plant/manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to plant and operations leadership
  • Maintain accurate production, inventory, and operational records
  • Enter and update production data, inventory information, and other documentation in ERP systems and spreadsheets
  • Review production paperwork and batch records for accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare, organize, scan, and maintain production records, reports, labels, tickets, and other documentation
  • Compile daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to production, inventory, supplies, and operational activity
  • Monitor raw material and supply levels and coordinate orders as needed
  • Assist with purchasing supplies and services while maintaining budget considerations
  • Schedule and coordinate vendors and assist with ongoing vendor relationships
  • Help manage plant files, operational documents, and administrative projects
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities for plant employees
  • Maintain operational guides and other documentation to help ensure consistency
  • Assist with facility and visitor coordination
  • Work with department leaders and management to identify administrative or operational needs
  • Monitor processes and identify areas where improvements may be needed
  • Assist with resolving issues related to production, supplies, documentation, and daily operations
  • Provide general administrative support to the Operations and Production teams
  • Complete additional administrative and operational projects as needed

Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Plant Administrative Coordinator to support the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of a manufacturing facility. This position will work closely with plant leadership, production, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure information, documentation, inventory, purchasing, and general administrative processes are handled accurately and efficiently.

The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable working in a plant environment, enjoys staying organized, has strong computer and Excel skills, and can manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Experience in manufacturing, chemical production, operations, inventory, or a similar environment is preferred.
