Job summary

Toyota Material Handling North America is hiring a Manufacturing Supervisor for our Columbus, IN location. You will lead Team Leaders and Associates, drive safety, quality, and productivity, and promote Toyota's core values through daily actions.

You will oversee daily production meetings, reports, and 4M changes, guide kaizen initiatives, and support development and succession planning within the team.

Qualifications

• 2 year technical degree preferred or GED with 5+ years relevant experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in a high production manufacturing environment.
• Results-driven with ability to use visual management tools to identify problems and implement improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead Team Leaders and Associates in safety, quality, and TPS activities.
• Promote Toyota’s Core Values through actions.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed daily.
• Oversee daily production meetings, 4M change management & communication and day-to-day activities, while promoting kaizen.
• Support development of Associates and Team Leaders; assist succession planning.
• Engage in kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
