Job summary

The Manufacturing Production Supervisor at Oshkosh Corporation, Inc. will lead manufacturing teams to ensure safe, productive, and on-time production schedules, while upholding quality and 5S standards.

You'll coach high-performance teams, manage both union and non-union environments, and drive continuous improvement through Kaizen and value stream projects to support a People First culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with three or more years of manufacturing experience.
• OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Lead 1-2 small or similar areas within the production facility/line.
• Lead production team members in a union and/or non-union environment on the manufacturing process and provide daily support in troubleshooting issues.
• Provide performance feedback and appraisals to team members to guide their development.
• Educate and enforce quality, safety, and 5S standards and processes, and recommend changes as opportunities arise on production floor.
• Support maintenance, continuous improvement, and value stream projects that support the business and ensure the production schedule demands are met.
• Conduct root-cause analyses of manufacturing process to identify, define, and resolve problems and opportunities.
