Job summary

Toyota Material Handling North America (TMHNA) is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor at our Columbus, Indiana site. You will lead Team Leaders and Associates to drive safety, quality and production targets, while teaching and guiding a diverse team in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• 2 year Technical Degree preferred or High school diploma/GED with 5+ year’s relevant experience.
• 3+ years of Leadership experience in a high production, fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Results driven, able to use visual management tools to identify problems and implement improvements.
• Promote Toyota’s Core Values through their actions.
• Support development of Associates and Team Leaders; participate in succession planning and kaizen initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead Team Leaders & Associates in proactive safety, quality, and TPS activities to achieve key metrics.
• Promote Toyota’s core values through actions.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Oversee daily reports, production meetings, 4M change management and day-to-day activities while promoting kaizen.
• Support development of Associates and Team Leaders and assist in succession planning.
