Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Florida Building Code.
• Ability to read and comprehend construction plans and blueprints.
• Ability to explain code applications to architects, engineers, contractors, inspectors and the public.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Review construction plans for code and ordinance compliance.
• Approve or reject building permits based on examination.
• Explain state, local codes and permit requirements to applicants and professionals.
• Conduct field inspections as needed and support the Permit Center.
