Willdan is seeking a remote, full-time Plans Examiner to review construction plans for compliance with the Florida Building Code across multiple disciplines. The role covers Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, or Gainesville, with travel within the state.

Requirements include a valid Florida Plans Examiner license (RPX or PX), at least 3 years of FL experience, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will stay current with FBC updates and maintain plan review documentation.

• At least 3 years’ experience as a Plans Examiner in Florida.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Mansioni

• Review construction plans for compliance with Florida Building Code and local regulations.
• Evaluate plans across Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Energy, and Accessibility.
• Provide code references and guidance to achieve compliance.
