Job summary

Atterro, acting on behalf of Staffmark Total Talent Solutions, seeks an Operations Manager in Plano, TX to oversee multiple departments, drive production and distribution, and manage vendor relationships. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 6+ years of directly related experience.
• Vendor management, procurement, or supply chain operations.
• Professional certifications in SCM or Six Sigma are a plus.
• Experience in contract negotiation and vendor performance management.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and stakeholders.
• Develop, implement and maintain vendor management policies and procedures to optimize vendor performance and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Ensure that the standard procedures are followed and that vendors meet or exceed their contractual obligations.
• Monitor and coordinate vendor performance reviews, audits, and assessments to ensure KPIS are maintained.
• Analyze vendor performance data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Monitor and support the vendor selection process, including the development of RFPs, bid evaluation, and contract negotiation.
• Address and resolve any vendor-related issues or disputes in a timely and effective manner.
• Direct the activities of the various departments in the company and is concerned with pricing, sales, production and distribution of the company’s products.
• Responsible for managing the employees, creating their work schedules and distributing their duties.
• Determine employment requirements as well as interviews and hires prospective employees.
• An operations manager may also train the newly hired employees.
• Manage all the activities that are associated with the production of the products the company offers.
• Responsible for managing the performance of the employees such as sales promotions, coordinating with different division leads, planning the layout and design of the store, and setting the prices and credit terms.
• Supervise the remodeling of current amenities and represent the company during client meetings and negotiations.
• Handle problems in a calm and collected manner, even when under pressure.
