HNTB’s Central States office invites a Planner I to join the Integrated Planning Solutions team for Summer 2027 in Overland Park, KS. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Engineering, or related field.
• Understanding of GIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to compile, summarize and present data for reports.

Responsibilities

• Researches and collects raw data, organizes, analyzes and provides review of the data for use in projects and for further analysis.
• Performs project analysis using technical guidance and software.
• Assists project team with development of maps, exhibits, presentation materials, and reporting.
• Conducts research on issues, policies, and concepts pertaining to planning; assists in development of planning alternatives.
• Prepares and produces plans, studies, reports, and environmental documents for transportation and infrastructure projects.
• Assists in stakeholder and public participation process.
• Maintains records and files related to specific projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
