Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking a Planning Manager to lead a safety-first culture, drive continuous improvement, and promote an inclusive work environment. You will oversee work orders, design activities, and performance reporting to Senior Leadership while ensuring compliance and efficient resource use.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and experience in utility design projects, with up to 60% travel and a hybrid work arrangement based in Pasadena, CA.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of combined experience performing or supervising electrical utility distribution, transmission or telecom design or line construction.
• Possess a valid Class C Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and approves work orders for accuracy and develops/revises plans to meet design, construction, and safety standards.
• Supervises incoming projects to balance workload and meet design execution targets.
• Leads design activities and contract resources to meet department goals and coordinate with peer hub managers.
