Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3+ years in Electrical Utility Distribution/Transmission/Telecommunication design or related engineering discipline.
• Valid Driver's License (Class C) required.
• Experience applying engineering principles, construction standards, and industry practices.
• Experience in project management and coordinating cross-team initiatives.

Aufgaben

• conducts long‑term grid import planning analyses and transmission interconnection assessments and projects; manages large design projects from inception to construction completion with adherence to policies, procedures, and timelines.
• supports distribution system development by designing plans, estimating costs, and providing options for construction of distribution facilities.
• makes decisions impacting project scope, timing, and budget.
• performs field inspections to verify compliance with plans.
• analyzes distribution system capabilities and planning criteria.
• conducts power flow studies and builds power flow models to develop distribution plans.
• ensures reliability targets and analyzes outages for cause and duration.
• coordinates with internal teams to ensure policy compliance and project progress.
• stays current with industry practices and engages with diverse customers to meet electrical design needs.
• provides training and support as needed.
• protects confidential customer data and other sensitive information with high integrity.
