Central States Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Planning to lead forecasting, demand and inventory planning, and IBP across locations.

This role drives alignment with Purchasing, Operations, Sales, and Finance while shaping working capital strategies. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in planning, IBP/S&OP experience, ERP proficiency, and a track record of improving service levels and inventory turns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in demand planning, inventory management, or related discipline.
• 3+ years leading a team or planning function.
• Experience managing or facilitating IBP/S&OP process; presenting to senior leadership.
• Proficiency with ERP and planning systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly forecasting and IBP across product categories, locations, and planning groups.
• Coordinate consensus-demand process with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Purchasing.
• Develop annual purchasing and supply plan balancing cost, capacity, and working capital.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and drive corrective actions and improvements.
• Oversee inventory turns, stock levels, and offsite inventory programs; optimize working capital.
• Provide data-driven insights to senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
