Ideal candidates have a relevant degree with 3+ years in logistics or manufacturing, SAP experience, and a proven ability to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing with an associate degree.
• Bachelor's degree with 1+ year in related field; or Master's/JD/PhD; or 5+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically.
• ERP/SAP experience preferred.

Position Summary:

As the Planning and Delivery leader, you will manage delivery schedules and directly report into the P&C Manager. You will play an integral role in the preparation, planning, and issuing and controlling production schedules along with coordinating material requirements, to ensure a controlled flow for approved materials is timed to meet production.This is an exciting opportunity, as you’ll work with cross-functional teams whilst also working to advise management of the status of work and work to overcome potential production obstacles. The core accountabilities for this role include supplier relationship management and planning delivery schedules for a given mix of suppliers. This is a fast paced, highly visible role supporting the North American external supply chain delivering to internal customers.You must be open to traveling up to 25% of the time domestically.

What you will be doing:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure continuity of supply to the manufacturing facilitiesUtilize knowledge of production flow and load and capacity planning to build credible supplier delivery commitmentsManage data integrity in SAP and ensure ERP Compliance is maintainedEffectively manage cost by executing a balanced delivery and inventory plan based on customer requirementsCommunicate and schedule long term delivery commitments and coordinate recovery plans for critical partsDrive continuous improvement and lean initiatives through the Rolls-Royce Production System and other problem-solving methodologies

Basic Requirements:

• Associate degree and 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing or business management, ORBachelor's degree 1+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing or business management, ORMaster's degree, ORJD/PhD, OR5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing or business management in lieu of a degree

Preferred Requirements:

• Project management experience
• Adept problem solving
• Strong internal and external relationship management skills
• Systems, Applications and Products (SAP) experience
• Project management and collaborating with various department
