Metroparks Toledo is offering an internship within the Planning and Construction Department to advance the district's conservation mission. You will assist in producing drawings, conducting field inspections, data collection, and planning for park improvement projects.

The role provides practical work experience while pursuing a degree, with tasks including documenting, researching studies, cost estimates, and developing department processes.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with a valid driver's license.
• Currently pursuing and has completed at least two semesters towards a relevant Bachelor's degree.
• No prior internship experience required.

Responsabilités

• Assist in production of construction drawings and specifications.
• Perform field inspections, audits, data collection, and asset assessments.
• Assist in conceptual and planning drawings for park projects.
• Scan documents and organize project files.
• Develop department processes and standards.
• Research and compile info for studies, cost estimates, and reports.
• Inspect projects and maintain required documentation.
• Develop software skills for design and planning tools.
