Job summary

Walbridge is seeking interns who are passionate about construction to gain hands-on experience and mentorship designed to launch careers in construction and engineering. Interns engage in meaningful work assignments either in the field or at Walbridge’s corporate and regional offices, gaining exposure to real-world challenges and professional development opportunities.

Interns are assigned to areas such as Estimating, Scheduling, Field Operations, Design Management, Cost, Technology, and more.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in accredited undergraduate program in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
• Passionate about construction, engineering, or related fields.
• Willing to travel.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Eager to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute: Assist in coordination of on-site construction projects and engineering activities.
• Collaborate: Work with experienced team members including Superintendents, Project Managers, Estimators, Schedulers and others.
• Support: Complete documentation in support of subcontractor planning and administration to ensure quality of construction in support of overall project schedule.
• Interpret: Understand and interpret designs, drawings, specifications, submittals, and other construction documents.
