Job summary

Walbridge is seeking motivated engineering and construction interns for the summer. You will gain hands-on experience in field or office settings, contribute to on-site projects, and receive mentoring to jump-start your career in construction and engineering.

Must be enrolled in accredited undergraduate program in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
Be passionate about construction, engineering, or related fields.
Have ability to travel.
Have strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Be eager to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

Contribute: Assist in coordination of on-site construction projects and engineering activities.
Collaborate: Work with experienced team members including Superintendents, Project Managers, Estimators, Schedulers and others.
Support: Complete documentation in support of subcontractor planning and administration to ensure quality of construction in support of overall project schedule.
Interpret: Understand and interpret designs, drawings, specifications, submittals, and other construction documents.
