Job summary

A local park district is seeking a dedicated individual to assist with the planning, design, and development of park projects. This position requires working under the Director of Planning and involves conducting site visits, maintaining GIS databases, and aiding in the creation of park planning graphics. Qualifications

  • Attending a University or College for a relevant degree.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, GIS, and Adobe software.
  • Detail oriented for accurate information processing.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and follow direction.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site visits to inventory park sites and observe conditions.
  • Maintain park inventory data in GIS database.
  • Assist with park design and planning graphics.
  • Follow safety and administrative policies.
  • Perform additional related tasks as required.
