Job summary

RICK Planning + Design Division in San Diego seeks a planning professional with a Master’s in Planning or related field and 4+ years of experience to lead complex planning projects. You will oversee General Plans, Specific Plans, and development applications, coordinating with public agencies and stakeholders to create vibrant communities.

The role emphasizes strong written and oral communication, organizational skills, and active involvement in public engagement and proposals.

Qualifications

• Masters in Planning or related field with four years' experience, or a Bachelor's with six years.
• Experience preparing and processing General/Specific/Development plans and zoning work.
• Strong oral and written communication, organization, and public engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process General Plans, Specific Plans, and Master Plans.
• Manage development applications and zoning analyses.
• Coordinate public engagement and present at public meetings.
• Assist in business development, proposals, and professional organizations.
