Job summary

Rick Engineering is seeking an Associate Planner in San Diego, CA to perform planning duties across general and specific plans, master plans, and development applications. The role requires strong communication, organizational, and project management skills, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and ArcGIS.

Qualified candidates will have a Master's in Planning or related field (or a Bachelor's with significant experience) and experience coordinating public engagement and regulatory

Qualifications

• Masters in Planning or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's with 6+ years.
• Experience preparing and processing General Plans, Specific Plans, Master Plans, Development Applications, Zoning and other project management.
• Strong written and oral communication, organization, and project management; familiarity with local codes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and present at public meetings.
• Knowledge of local codes, policies, and City/County guidelines.
• Manage multiple development projects and coordinate with stakeholders.
