Job summary

You will be the welcoming face helping residents, businesses, and contractors bring building plans to life, while guiding them through permits, inspections, and code requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business or public administration with 2+ years of customer service experience.
• Understanding of planning and zoning, building trades, construction, and code enforcement.
• Driver's license is desirable.
• ICC Permit Technician certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive customer service support across Planning and Development Services functions.
• Assist and guide customers in navigating Residential and Zoning permitting, issuance, and inspection processes.
• Educate the public on building codes and ordinances; communicate procedures and requirements.
