Job summary

New Hampshire Ball Bearings, Inc. (NHBB) seeks a production scheduling professional to coordinate planning for a product line to meet business demand. You'll expedite and interface with manufacturing and quality to keep schedules on track.

The role requires strong knowledge of production control, MRP systems, and solid Office skills, with a focus on accuracy and timely reporting. HS diploma and 4 years in scheduling preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 4 years of production scheduling or prior planning experience is preferred
• Previous experience using MRP software

Responsibilities

• Coordinates production planning workflow for one or multiple products
• Reviews the monthly build plan and creates/schedules work orders to load the manufacturing floor to best utilize production work cell equipment and resources, based on material availability
• Collaborates with appropriate team members to determine optimal utilization of production capacities and to resolve scheduling conflicts
• Prepares/updates daily, weekly and monthly production, sales and inventory reports
• Works with the materials team to research and remedy inventory errors resulting from missing and incorrect work order transactions
• Understand and manage risks to minimize impact on the production schedule
• Support department and divisional goals

Job Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinates production planning workflow for one or multiple products

Job Skills & Abilities:

• Strong knowledge base in operating systems: MAPICS, APS, manufacturing backlog

Education and Experience:

• HS Diploma or GED.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organizations' facilities.
