Job summary

New Hampshire Ball Bearings, Inc. (NHBB) is seeking an assembler to perform safe, efficient assembly using hand tools and equipment in a manufacturing environment in Los Angeles, CA.

The role emphasizes reading and following drawings and specifications, maintaining quality standards and production levels, and reporting irregularities. You will work under supervision to ensure safety and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

  • Read, reference and interpret written and verbal instructions, including drawings and specification sheets
  • Follow established standard procedures accurately
  • Concentrated visual attention for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

  • Proficient in at least one functional area of Assembly such as Build, Scribe, Pack, etc.
  • Read, reference, and interpret written and verbal instructions to assemble bearing products as directed, adhering to quality standards. Maintain established production levels through safe and efficient operations.
  • Inspect & identify any irregularities as to fits, defective parts, finishes, work techniques and/or quality of workmanship, and report them to assigned leader.
  • Diagnose and correct operating difficulties, and maintain required records.
  • Keep work area clean and orderly, observing all safety rules and regulations, and conforming to OSHA regulations.
  • Move materials, parts, and containers as required, to complete job duties.

  • May require standing, walking, bending, reaching, grabbing, twisting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
