Job summary

Responsibilities include coordinating work with private contractors, engineers, and property owners; supervising staff as needed; and preparing technical reports and cost estimates.

Qualifications

• Completion of the twelfth school grade and five years of paraprofessional engineering or surveying work.
• Substitution: college education in engineering, drafting, construction management or related field may substitute for up to four years of experience.
• A GED may be accepted in lieu of twelfth grade.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and coordinates the activities of a section, unit, or project involving paraprofessional engineering work.
• Plans and coordinates the preparation and review of plans, specifications, and drawings for construction projects.
• Maintains working files of plans, specifications, drawings, cost estimates, and data.
