Job summary

Bowman Consulting in Columbus, OH seeks a Water/Wastewater Engineer III to advance complex design, analysis, and permitting for public and private clients. You will lead technical direction, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and deliver high-quality reports and drawings.

Five or more years of water/wastewater experience, a civil/environmental/mechanical engineering degree, and PE licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or mechanical engineering is required.
• 5+ years of water/wastewater experience or related projects.
• Licensure as a professional engineer in relevant discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex water/wastewater analysis, design, and permitting projects.
• Provide direction and mentorship to junior engineers and CAD drafters.
• Collaborate with clients, agencies, and design teams to resolve complex project issues.
• Prepare reports, plans, specifications, and project correspondence.
• Assist in marketing the firm’s capabilities to win new clients.
