Job summary

Jobot is a plaintiff-side litigation firm focused on helping individuals navigating serious injury and workplace-related claims. This role handles a workers’ compensation caseload from intake to resolution, with hearings, strategy development, and case advancement in a fast-paced setting.

The attorney will manage matters independently while leading a small support team, engaging with clients, and gaining regular court exposure to build advocacy skills within a structured litigation environment.

Qualifications

• Experience handling workers’ compensation matters on the plaintiff side.
• Comfortable appearing in hearings and managing case progression independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple active files simultaneously.
• Prior experience supervising or working closely with support staff preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients at administrative hearings, conferences, and trials.
• Evaluate cases, identify legal issues, and develop case strategy.
• Draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and case-related reports.
• Negotiate settlements and communicate with opposing counsel and carriers.
• Manage a full caseload with support from legal assistants and case management staff.
• Guide and oversee support staff to ensure efficient case progression.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case status and expectations.
