Job summary

Qualifications

• Active California State Bar membership in good standing.
• 1+ year of employment law experience.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Strong legal research, writing, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal communication and client service skills.
• Employment litigation experience involving depositions, motion practice, or trial preparation preferred.
• Plaintiff-side employment law experience preferred.
• Genuine interest in employee advocacy and workplace justice.

Responsibilities

• Represent employees in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblower, wrongful termination, and related employment matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other litigation documents
• Conduct legal research and help develop case strategy
• Participate in and prepare for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials
• Communicate directly with clients and provide clear guidance regarding their workplace rights
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff throughout all stages of litigation
• Manage deadlines and case responsibilities with strong attention to detail
• Contribute to individual, class action, and other complex employment matters
