Our Client, a well-established Los Angeles law firm, invites applications for an Employment Plaintiff Attorney with 1–3 years of employment law experience to join the litigation team. You will represent employees in workplace disputes, manage cases from inception to resolution, and work alongside experienced litigators in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active California State Bar member in good standing.
• 1–3 years of employment law litigation experience.
• Experience handling matters from inception to resolution.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of employment litigation matters.
• Represent employees in claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour violations, and related employment law issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy.
• Take and defend depositions of parties and witnesses.
• Attend court hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and arbitrations.
• Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses.
• Evaluate liability, damages, and settlement opportunities.
• Prepare cases for trial and assist with trial proceedings as needed.
• Maintain accurate billing records and ensure compliance with litigation deadlines.

Position Overview

The Employment Plaintiff Attorney will handle a variety of employment law matters on behalf of employees, including claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour violations, and other workplace disputes. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with strong analytical, writing, and advocacy skills who is eager to manage cases from inception through resolution.

Key Responsibilities
