Job summary

Orion Placement in Los Angeles seeks a senior plaintiff-side employment attorney to own complex employment matters, including termination, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wage disputes, guiding cases with aggressive advocacy for employees.

You will join a boutique practice focused on meaningful responsibilities, with hybrid work flexibility and opportunities to advance based on performance and results.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of employment law experience.
• Employment law background exclusive to plaintiff-side.
• Active California Bar membership in good standing.
• Strong employment litigation, writing, negotiation, and case-management skills.
• Experience handling California employee-side claims.
• Ability to manage substantial responsibility while providing excellent client service.
• Senior plaintiff-side employment attorneys are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Manage plaintiff-side employment matters with ownership and strategic responsibility.
• Represent employees in wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, wage and hour, leave, and related disputes.
• Evaluate claims and develop effective litigation and resolution strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other substantive legal work.
• Handle discovery, depositions, negotiations, mediations, and other key stages of litigation.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide clear, responsive guidance throughout their matters.
• Collaborate with our attorneys and legal team to maximize outcomes for clients.
• Help drive cases toward strong settlements, resolutions, and litigation results.
