Job summary

Jobot is a boutique plaintiff personal injury law firm in Dallas seeking an experienced Plaintiff PI Paralegal to join its fully in-office team. This role combines paralegal and legal secretary duties, supporting files from inception through settlement, judgment, or trial.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and compassionate with clients, able to manage pre-litigation and litigation matters and coordinate with attorneys and staff in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of plaintiff PI paralegal experience.
• Experience handling pre-litigation and litigation matters.
• Ability to manage files from inception through resolution.
• Strong drafting, organization, calendar management and client communication.
• Independent work style with collaboration with attorneys and staff.
• Must be in-office in Dallas.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage plaintiff PI matters from intake through settlement or trial.
• Handle both pre-litigation and litigation files.
• Draft correspondence, demands, pleadings, discovery and related docs.
• Request/review/organize medical records, bills, police reports, docs.
• Communicate with clients, providers, insurers, opposing counsel, courts.
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and calendars.
• Maintain deadlines and organized case files.
• Assist with settlement documents, lien coordination and disbursements.
• Provide day-to-day paralegal support as needed.
