Job summary

Stealth, a well-established New Jersey law firm, seeks a Plaintiff's Medical Malpractice Attorney for its Monmouth County office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigator to take substantive case responsibility within a collaborative, client-focused practice.

Responsibilities include managing a plaintiff-side medical malpractice caseload from intake through resolution, working with medical experts, and developing liability and damages theories.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil litigation experience, with plaintiff-side medical malpractice experience strongly preferred.
• Active New Jersey Bar license in good standing.
• Strong writing, deposition, and courtroom skills.
• Comfort working with medical experts and complex medical records.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently while working well within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of plaintiff-side medical malpractice matters from intake through resolution.
• Evaluate new cases, work with medical experts, and develop liability and damages theories.
• Conduct depositions, motion practice, and discovery.
• Prepare cases for trial and provide trial support/first-chair opportunities as experience warrants.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide regular case status updates.
• Collaborate with partners and colleagues on litigation strategy.
