Confidential Employer in New Jersey is seeking a junior attorney (0-3 years) licensed to practice in NJ to join our litigation team focusing on medical malpractice defense. This on-site role offers hands-on exposure, responsibility, and mentorship alongside experienced attorneys.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Bar license is required.
• 0-3 years of associate attorney experience.
• Strong interest in litigation and medical malpractice defense.
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with defense of complex medical malpractice matters.
• Conduct legal research and help develop case strategy.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
• Assist with discovery, depositions, hearings, negotiations, and other litigation activities.
• Review and analyze medical records, evidence, and case-related materials.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and other legal professionals.
• Manage assigned tasks and deadlines with strong attention to detail.
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys while progressively taking on greater responsibility.
• Develop practical litigation skills and gain meaningful exposure to the full lifecycle of medical malpractice cases.
